menuMLIS Announces Southern Division Schedule
Major League Indoor Soccer today announced the Southern Division schedule, completing the 2022-23 regular season league slate.
The Southern Division includes the Austin Emerald, Houston Bolt, Springfield Demize, and Wichita Selection. Austin will visit Springfield on December 10 to kick off divisional play. Houston and Wichita will open on January 7.
Austin, who open their home schedule on December 17, will split their six home games over three different venues in a bid to better saturate the local market.
Divisional play ends with Austin visiting Wichita on March 18 and 19.
"Within the Eastern, Central, and Southern Divisions, we have 12 teams vying for one championship and a number of compelling stories that are going to make our first MLIS season a memorable one," said MLIS Commissioner Dominic Turcotte. "Best of luck to all of our members and may the best team win!"
