MLIS Adds Ohio Extreme

Major League Indoor Soccer today announced the Ohio Extreme as an expansion team for the 2023-24 season. The Lima, Ohio based team will begin play this December.

The Extreme, who will play their six-game home schedule at Apex Sports Zone, are led by Aaron Garrett, the team's CEO. "We're looking to continue to bring top level soccer back to Lima, Ohio," Garrett says.

"MLIS is excited to add another team in Ohio," said MLIS Commissioner Dominic Turcotte. "We are happy to have the Ohio Extreme Soccer Club become part of the MLIS family and the city of Lima is ideally located between our Chicago Mustangs and Cleveland Crunch, creating two new rivalries."
